Bombay Chutney
Various chutney recipes are available and this recipe is very yummy to have with dosai,idly,poori,chapathi etc.
Ingredients:-
Onion. -1 or 2(medium/small)
Tomato. -1 or 2(medium/small)
Green chilli. -1 long chopped
Red chilli. -1
Garlic. -4 gloves
Gram flour. -11/2 tbspn
Fennel seeds
( sombu). -1/4 tspn
Turmeric. - a pinch
Salt. - as per taste
Oil. -3 tbspn
Mustard. - for seasoning.
Curry leaves&
Coriander leaves -for seasoning
Note:- mix gram flour, turmeric and salt together. Make a thin batter with water.
Approximately 11/2 cup of water is enough to make this mix.

Note:- mix gram flour, turmeric and salt together. Make a thin batter with water.

Method:-
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, (sombu)fennel seed to it.once it starts splitting, add garlic,green chilli, red chill, and curry leaves and saute it for few seconds. Then add finely chopped onion, fry it till it turns golden brown.
- Add finely chopped tomato and saute it well for few minutes. Add 75 ml of water. When it starts boil, add gram flour mix to it.
- Saute in a low flame. Mix some more water as per your consistency.
- Mix thoroughly and continuously so that it prevent lumps formation.
