every one prepare this kulambu with channa dhal.
instead here i use fried gram to prepare it immediately as channa dhal requires some time to soak it.
Required ingredients:
To grind:
1. fried grams - 2tbsp
2.green chilli -3-4
3.ginger- 2 small slice
4.jheera- 1 teaspn
5.dhaniya (coriander seed)- 2 teaspn
6.coconut- grated 3tbspn
curd
asafoetida
turmeric powder
oil
salt
any vegetable
onion pakora(optional)
Method:
take any favourite vegetables ( potato,chow chow , ,pozani, ladys finger , brinjal, sepakizhangu, or only fried onion) ,bolied with little salt and kept aside .
convert the curd into thick butter milk and add grind ingredients, boiled vegetable, salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida. Mix well and boil just for 2 minutes.
garnish with curry leaves and split custard.
Optional - can use onion pakora instead of vegetables which will be added at last.
