How to make Rava Idli in 30 Mins:

INGREDIENTS:

Rava - 3 cups
Yogurt - 3 cups
Split black gram - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
Split Bengal gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
Curry leaves - few
Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp)
Water - 2 cups

PREPARATION:

Heat oil in a pan when it is hot add split black gram,  split bengal gram, mustard seeds and curry leaves. (You will hear spatter sound)

Add the above to the rava with the yogurt, salt mix them and leave it for 25 minutes and then add 2 cups of water.

Beat the flour and make sure it is in idli batter consistency, Spoon batter onto an idli stand.
Heat water in idli cooker, and place stand in.

Steam for 5-7 minutes.

Insert a clean matchstick (back end) or a skewer. The skewer should come out clean if the idli’s are done.
